PO 3.5x20 Compact Weapon Rifle Scope w/ German Post Reticle. Kalinka Optics Warehouse carries only the finest rifle scopes. While there are several companies in the world that make quality scopes, ours are certainly the only that combine professional performance without breaking the bank. The only thing better than owning a world-class instrument is owning one inexpensively. Our scopes are based on Soviet military designs, which are extremely rugged and have the very best optical properties. The factory is small, private, and with the very best quality control. Like most Russian optics, the PO 3.5x20 is made in the Zeiss tradition. The optics sold here are of the highest quality for military, law enforcement and sporting use. Compare their performance and price with Leupold and other top brands. One of our best scopes for most hunters in brush or wooded areas expecting shots out to 200 meters, the Pilade series is a top hunting model. The scope allows easy and precise aiming without the parallax inherent to mechanical sights. The scope has a fixed click scale-up ratio, 4 (+/- 0.2), and has angle of sight and side angle adjustment knobs. As you would expect in a superior scope there is no grid floating when you move your eye so you always stay lined up. The eyepiece is set with a setting ring for surety. You can measure the distance to the target using the crosshairs. The top horizontal hairs are 7/1000ths the distance at which the scope is zeroed. So if the scope is zeroed at 100 meters, the space between the hairs will accommodate a 70 centimeter target. The Pilade series has magnesium alloy bodies and fully coated optics. They are water resistant and can be used in a variety of climate conditions. The 3.5x20 uses a clean reticle without the markings of the 'Dragunov' reticule with its 1,000 m rangefinder to give you a nice uninhibited view. Unlike most scopes, where the sighting rings are covered by caps and need a screwdriver to adjust, these scopes have exposed rings for quick adjustment. Although the rings are exposed and may be moved, you can instantly return to your zero point just by turning the rings so that two red marks line up. This scope has a one inch tube. It is easily mountable to any weapon that takes Weaver-style rings, Ruger rings, Dovetail rings or other one inch rings. Plus the factory makes a special dovetail mount specifically for this scope which is available only through Kalinka Optics and can be found at the bottom of this page or in the Mounts section of the site.

Bought this on sale for $140 shipped. I wanted a user friendly scope simmilar to the famous PU scopes of WW2 for my airgun. Only issue is that I know nothing about the Russian language and the whole manual is printed in Russian (not the fault of Kalinka or manufacturer) which was tricky since the scope was not focused out of the box. After loosening and turning the rear assembly of the optic I managed to focus it. For the money the scope is very clear and sturdy while being pretty light in weight. With a .177 airgun at 750 FPS, it manages to hit squirrels in the head consistently within 25 yards. Currently contemplating moving the scope onto an AK for the range.

I’m happy I found an optic that is small and able to take the AK’s sloppy nasty recoil and shake. For anybody who has ever scoped one of these I would like to know if they had problems with crooked mounts and bases. The WASR 10’s (Romanian Surplus/New Builds) come with a side mount for a scope base and it has been my experience that any side mount AK rail will never be straight and requires a reasonable amount of adjusting and shimming and mine is def in that category. I had to shim the mount for both windage and elevation and I used some Weaver windage adjustable scope rings. (Never heard of these before but they work really well.) All this is required with this scope because the scope is a lot like the Nagant’s PU scopes in that when you make adjustments it movies the cross hairs in the screen, basically if a lot of adjustment is required (And it will be with the side AK mount) than you crosshair will be way off in the left or right side of the scope same goes for up and down and it get ridiculous really fast, but I think this design is why it takes the recoil so well. I BZO’ed the scope with 20 rounds lol yeah I know that’s a lot and then played with 80 more rounds and everything is holding a perfect zero and that’s the first time I’ve personally have been able to get that with a side mounted scoped AK. It has a clear image and very stiff turrets. Other than the rubber eye piece wanting to work it's way off it seems like decent a quality product. If this one lasts I'll order another for my PSL.

I bought this scope SECONDHAND from a guy to replace the tiring repro PU scope on my m91/30. It is certainly much higher in quality than the other reproduction PU scopes out there. Mine has had less than a hundred rounds under it and has held up fine so far. Much better than the cheaper ones. Do yourself a favor and do not buy a cheap reproduction scope. Grab one of these

I purchased one of these SECONDHAND from a guy to replace the tiring repro PU scope on my m91/30. It has had less than a hundred rounds under it and is holding up fine so far. The overall quality of this alone makes it worth buying. You could go and spend money on a crappy cheap reproduction, but that's just be silly ;) Spend the extra few bucks and grab one of these if you're going for that authentic Russian sniper look

Mounted this on my PTR 91 (which I have had a hard time finding a scope that handles the hard recoil of the roller delayed blowback operation.) Mounted and zeroed in very little time. Once it's zeroed you can reset the numbers on the adjustment knobs. Fit and finish is excellent and no loose parts. Shipping was really fast too. Thanks for a great product. I will be buying future optics from Kalinka.

KEEP IN MIND THE SCOPE IS ONLY 150 USD. WHEN I TRIED TO USE THE SCOPE OUT OF THE BOX, THE RUBBER RINGS ON THE REAR FELL OFF. THE HELP LINE EMPLOYEE TOLD ME TO PUT THEM BACK ON THE RINGS DID NOT STAY ON. NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT PART. THE SCOPE ITSELF IS EXACTLY AS SHOULD BE. IT WAS ON TARGET OUT OF THE BOX! I ONLY NEEDED TO ADJUST ELEVATION. I USED CHEAP LEUPOLD RINGS DIRECTLY ON THE FLAT TOP OF MY AR15 CLONE. OPTICS ARE CLEAR. GERMAN POST RETICLE WORKS JUST FINE.
