Original PK-01 V Military Red Dot Rifle Weapon Scope w/ Brightness Adjustment, Detachable AK Side Mount and Standard 30 mm Tube. The PK-01V is a modern, mil-spec, light scope simple in design and construction. It is particularly reliable and sturdy. It is designed for accurate firing by hunting rifles in daylight and dusk conditions and is guaranteed to significantly increase your accuracy. It has a standard 30 mm tube so it can be attached to virtually any weapon. It has a traditional bright red dot with a minimum MOA of 1.5. The PK-01VA has a special 8 setting, discreet built-in variable brightness control allowing you to regulate the brightness of the dot manually. It is overbuilt to handle the strongest of recoils and can be attached to any weapon regardless of caliber. The sight is waterproof and dry nitrogen purged to prevent fogging. It works well with night vision optics. The open windage and elevation knobs are easily accessible for adjustment and have clear, pronounced 2/3 MOA clicks. Russian sights are particularly popular for having open uncovered knobs that are finger adjustable. It comes with a full set of accessories including lens caps, tool, fire card and a soft carrying case. batteries for this scope can be found at the bottom of this page or in the Batteries and Bulbs section.

put on no trouble got red dot dropped down to the site post, even though maul is in russian the windage and elevation knobs are french so easy to figure out. once you take it to the range you will have to re tighten the mount as the first few rounds will loosen it up a bit throwing you off, adjustment is easy just remove mount, remove clip take off bracket and move internal cog slightly best to do this while mount is still on rifle will take some getting used to, after that zero back in and will stay on target even after you remove. I was hitting 2.75 inch groups with my arsenal slr-104 no problem then went to 250 no problem and then to 500 all on target great scope will buy another for when new AK arrives, you can't go wrong with this one

This sight is great value, I bought one for my Saiga 5.45 and VEPR 5.45. It had a little play on my Saiga but locked real tight on my VEPR. The sight is well built (super heavy duty) and a little on the heavy side but it looks awesome, and is easy to sight in without instructions. I highly recommend it.

I have this scope mounted on my Arsenal SLR 101 S Milled Receiver AK 7.62 x 39. It is rugged & easily adjustable. The best feature, in my opinion, is the very low midline position & the co-witness through the scope with BUIS. It is much easier to adjust for windage & elevation than the PK-AS scopes I also own. No special tool required. The only disadvantage compared to the PK-AS is the lack of a range finder ellipse & "black dot" capability. However, this scope is more readily available than the PK-AS for much less coin. It mounts solidly, & maintains zero steadfastly. This red dot compares favorably to my Trijicon red dot with a 1 MOA dot vs. 3.25 at half the price. This scope is impressive in all respects & highly recommended.

I have Eotechs and Aimpoints, this red dot is on par with the quality of both. I have two of them, one on an AK47, the other on a AK74. VERY accurate. We hunt hogs in South Texas and throw these around in UTV's while driving in tough terrain. They are rugged and hold zero regardless of conditions. Great purchase for the money.

After 10 months I am very impressed with this optic. Very durable, accurate and returns to zero after remounting. The red dot is bright enough for bright sunlight conditions and small enough for accurate work at 100 yard plus. I have not yet replaced the batteries in this unit. Over all very impressive. You will not be disappointed.

we mounted this to our ak74 - and its holds zero very well, and easily reaches out 300 plus yards - even on sunny day. but the best part is in low light conditions - you will be amazed how well you can acquire a target is very low light conditions. well worth it - a good buy.

I bought one of these with the intent of mounting it on my ak74. Mounted on a saiga 12, saiga in 7.62x39 and saiga in 5.45x39. It mounted on all of them flawlessly. It co-witnessed perfectly with an adjustable rear sight. If you read the manual(fair warning, its in Russian...), you're supposed to sight in your weapon with the dot right above sight alignment.

The only real "upgrade" you can do for this is to use lithium batteries(2 AAA batteries). It comes with regular alkaline batteries, but I found out long ago(with my "other" holographic sight) that if you use alkaline batteries and you leave them in the sight it will corrode the contacts and you risk your optic malfunctioning(this has not malfunctioned at any time).

I highly recommend this product!

It can hold zero when fire with 12GA 2-3/4 inches slug. Easy to install and set zero.
The only thing I dislike is its weight when it is installed with Saiga 12.

It's good idea if Kalinka can ship the scope to Thailand. Many Saiga 12 user in Thailand want the good scope.

Ordered the scope on Friday and recieved it on Wednesday. Adjusted the scope mount to fit the rail properly and pre-sight it in as per the russian manual (had to go by the diagrams). Will have to dial it in at the range in the next couple of days. So far I am very impressed with the quality and ruggedness and am very happy with the purchase. Can't wait to buy another scope from Kalinka optics.

I love this sight. Put it on my SGL31 and it looks mean. Only down fall is the instructions are in Russian (would really like to know what the range card that it came with says). Sighting it in was not too bad once I figured out which way it needed to go. Overall this sight rocks for the price.

Red Dot was sharp and visible in daylight. Overall, the sight is very sturdy and rugged construction. As noted earlier, one may need to shim to fit the mounting rail. However, that's not enough of a problem to a reason on not to buy. Does not have the finish of an Aimpoint, but definitely has the function. I've purchased two for both my AK's

I bought this site because I wanted a Russian manufactured price that had good quality and would be compatible with my AK 47 clone.

I understand that not all AK clone rails are created equal and that was a concern..

The sight is easy to use, easy to zero and I especially like the 1.5 moa dot. The 1.5 moa dot is especially nice when shooting at 200 meters. My eye lines up perfectly and naturally with the sight on my AK clone.

Unfortunately the sight mount did not tighten up sufficiently on the rail of my rifle and it shot loose after about 10 rounds. I had the options of (1) getting a new mount or (2) fabricating a shim. Well I got out the tin snips and a can and had a shim fabricated in about a half an hour. I took it to the range, fired a couple of boxes through it and the lockup remained tight.

I find it an excellent sight, just remember that you may need to make some modifications depending on the sight rail on your rifle.

Rugged, easy to zero even without an english manual tranlation. returns to zero when removed and reinstalled. Bright variable dot and co-witness of iron sights a plus. Installed on a Arsenal AK74 SGL31. Compares to the Aimpoint Comp M4 quite well, other than the expected battery life. Can't go wrong for the price.

I have a Bulgarian/U.S. AK-74 chambered of course on 5.45x39mm, I installed it in matter of minutes. It fit perfectly, no modifications needed. Just adjust the lever for a tighter fit and then I bore sighted it in my house up to 15 yards; took it to the range and unfortunately It doesn't come with an english manual so I had the brilliant idea to use the same instructions that I use in my AK-47 Kobra Red Dot which is you turn the dial in the direction you want your P.O.I. to move (right for right and down for down) well in this particular red dot is the opposite, it moves the red dot position in relation to the target therefore it does move the P.O.I. in the opposite direction desire. That is NORMAL it is just a different way of adjusting scopes, some manufacture use that method such as EOTech sights, I personally like the method use in my Russian Kobra Red Dot, anyhow; finally I got it sighted in and it is dead on every time. And of course it keeps the zero time after time. FYI DO NOT install it in another AK and spect to keep the zero since the scope rails are not exactly the same on each rifle, specially if it does go in very tight and you secure it down you WILL lose your zero (been there, done that ) The scope sits dead center of the bore of the rifle and it makes a perfect 1/3 co-witness (1/3 means that the co-witnessing is display if you will; on the bottom third of the scope field view thus giving you a better 2/3 field of view as oppose from an AR with Aimpoint co-witness feture (This system is way better than AR/AImpoint configuration) It looks cool as heck as all the Russian weapon's stuff :) I sent a bunch of cool pictures to Kalinka Optics so customer can have a better up to date pictures, ask them for the pictures :)
